Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
The Mechanical Assembler will perform duties required to build mechanical and pneumatic components into sub-assemblies across multiple models within their respective product lines. This role includes self-inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and documenting the sub-assemblies prior to releasing them to final assembly. The assembler will utilize basic hand tools and work on large industrial printers.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble mechanical and pneumatic components into sub-assemblies across multiple models within their respective product lines.
+ Perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of the sub-assemblies prior to releasing them to final assembly.
+ Assemble various components into mechanical sub-assemblies per engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
+ Prepare forms such as material requests and material returns to stock.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 1 year of mechanical assembly experience or experience assembling heavy industrial equipment.
+ Ability to read diagrams and/or schematics.
+ Experience working with pneumatic components.
+ Auto mechanic experience is a plus.
+ Good job tenure.
+ Inspect parts using micrometers, hole test gauges, calipers, thread and plug gauges, indicators, and telescoping depth gauges.
+ Troubleshooting experience with high attention to detail.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
+ HS Diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with hand and power tools.
+ Mechanical assembly experience in various industries such as auto mechanics, industrial equipment, or farm equipment.
+ Experience with heavy equipment assembly, final assembly, and production.

Work Environment
Mechanical Assembler for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM) with mandatory overtime of 7-10 hours per week and occasional Saturdays if needed. Training will be provided on the day shift for 3-4 weeks (Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). The work environment is clean, climate-controlled, spacious, and fast-paced. The dress code requires steel-toe shoes, jeans/pants, and a t-shirt (no shorts).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
