    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for conducting routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. You will develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce the likelihood of unexpected failures. Additionally, you will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, performing necessary repairs to minimize downtime. You will assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance in conformance with auditing standards will be a key part of your role. You will also navigate, maintain, and improve Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) processes, collaborating closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues while improving overall efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment.

    + Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

    + Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.

    + Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.

    + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.

    + Navigate and improve Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) processes.

    + Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.

    + Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, control panels, and wiring.

    + Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues to minimize downtime.

    + Install new electrical systems and equipment ensuring compliance with safety standards.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical troubleshooting and schematic reading.

    + Experience with control panels, VFDs, and 3-phase motors.

    + PLC troubleshooting and reading inputs/outputs.

    + Knowledge of pneumatics, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and robotics.

    This role is set within an automotive manufacturing environment where tools are provided. Employees undergo a once-a-year fit test with a clean-shaven requirement.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $87360.00/yr.
