    Job Title: NDT Inspector II

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated NDT Inspector II to join our team. This position involves working on either the day shift (Monday to Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm) or swing shift (Monday to Friday, 2 pm - 10:30 pm). The role requires performing inspections using Magnetic Particle and Fluorescent Penetrant methods.

    Responsibilities

    + Independently inspect parts and make evaluations.

    + Perform required process tests and document results.

    + Direct the work of Trainees and assist them in progressing through the established Level II qualification and certification process.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in NDT inspection, specifically in Magnetic Particle and Fluorescent Penetrant methods.

    + Ability to meet with NDT Level 3 technicians and Shop Supervisors during the interview process.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Minimum of 32 hours of formal training in Liquid Penetrant or Magnetic Particle Level II inspection methods.

    + Minimum of 400 hours practical experience for Liquid Penetrant Inspector Level II Certification.

    + Minimum of 530 hours practical experience for Magnetic Particle Inspector Level II Certification.

    + Possession of a PT and/or MT Level II Certificate or memorandum is helpful but not required.

    The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Washington.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
