Job Title: Architectural Design StrategistJob Description
We are seeking an innovative Architectural Design Strategist who excels in both architectural design and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, demonstrate programmatic thinking, and build strong relationships within the team. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture is required for this role.
Responsibilities
+ Dive into data to identify connections between programs and projects.
+ Develop program playbooks using Adobe InDesign, integrating information from various sources.
+ Set up mechanisms and processes to automate data collection and entry.
+ Create roadmaps to outline project plans and work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Provide standardization for each program and identify commonalities across all programs.
+ Review metrics to assess, compare, and track performance.
+ Obtain and analyze data from different teams.
+ Conduct data and gap analysis, particularly in aviation and airport planning.
+ Survey drawings and extract relevant information.
+ Provide a matrix of sizes for comparative analysis of square footage and attributes.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in architectural design, construction, and tools like Revit, BIM 360, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
+ Strategic thinking and experience with standardization of designs.
+ Experience in data-centric roles with skills in data entry and analysis using Excel.
+ Capability to envision and conceptualize 3-dimensional spaces.
+ Experience working with program profiles and critical design attributes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
+ Familiarity with Smartsheet and Asana is preferred but not required.
+ Experience on the owner side or with prototyping and standards development is advantageous.
+ Forward-thinking and ability to build machine-oriented training and calculators.
Work Environment
The role involves close collaboration with engineers, architects, and designers to develop building designs. The position offers flexibility for remote or hybrid work arrangements for candidates local to the Seattle area.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
