    Job Title: Cleaner

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The role involves vacuuming carpets, operating carpet extractors or truck mount carpet cleaners, and operating floor buffers. Additional duties include spot cleaning carpets, working with cleaning chemicals, driving company vehicles, applying floor chemicals, and reapplying epoxy coatings while scraping old coatings off floors.

    Responsibilities

    + Vacuum carpets thoroughly.

    + Operate carpet extractors and truck mount carpet cleaners efficiently.

    + Handle floor buffers to ensure smooth floor surfaces.

    + Spot clean carpets to remove stains and dirt.

    + Utilize cleaning chemicals responsibly and safely.

    + Drive company vehicles to transport cleaning equipment.

    + Apply floor chemicals for cleaning and maintenance purposes.

    + Reapply epoxy coatings and remove old coatings from floors.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in cleaning, general labor, janitorial, housekeeping, and sanitizing.

    + Proficiency in sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and washing.

    + Ability to perform janitorial duties including sanitizing and custodial tasks.

    + Capability to lift up to 75 lbs.

    + Flexibility to work evening shifts.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in carpet cleaning or janitorial background is preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is industrial and involves handling various cleaning technologies and chemicals. Employees will be required to wear appropriate protective attire while performing their tasks. The main shift is a late 2nd shift from 5pm to 1am, with occasional morning and weekend shifts to accommodate flexibility and learning opportunities.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
