    The pay range is $68,800.00 - $123,800.00

     

    Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications.     About the job:

    As an Accessibility Consultant you will learn WCAG 2.1 AA and our internal accessibility procedures. You will then use this knowledge to actively apply these procedures to digital experiences at all phases of web and app development, including discovery, design, engineering, testing and regression as an active participant with our product, technology, and design teams. You will use assistive technologies to test all experiences for accessibility gaps prior to them going live. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply this knowledge with the guidance of an experienced Senior or Lead Accessibility Consultant as you rotate through all of our customer and employee facing workstreams. You will be working on cutting edge digital experiences and will have the opportunity to be a part of crafting the future of accessibility. Your work is critical in driving inclusivity for all Target customers and employees.

    About you:

    + Showcase a desire to learn and grow

    + Demonstrate innovative and creative problem solving skills

    + Experience working across broad cross functional teams driving results through collaboration

    + Drive for results and manage execution: coordinate, prioritize, establish goals, ensure timelines are being met

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    + High level of initiative and organization, with the ability to be resilient and adaptable and manage ambiguity, risk, uncertainty and changing directions

    + Strong technical and analytical aptitude

    + Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) preferred

    + Exposure to working with assistive technologies preferred

    + Comfort working within a software development life cycle preferred

    + Understanding of Agile methodology is a plus

    + Interest or experience in working with UX Design, UX research, Engineering or Product is a plus

     

    This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
