Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **Licensed Practical Nurse** to work at a facility in **Elmira, NY.** These are _registry_ positions with our company.
40hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $1000
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $25
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1239 (Hotel-763 Meals-476) Total Weekly ($1239 is not taxed)= $2239
Feels like per hour = $55.975
$2239 div 40 hours = $55.975
Shift details:
+ Full time LPN's for 3/11 shift with EOW
+ 3/11 shift, 2:45pm-11:15pm
+ 7/3 day shift
+ 3/11 shift
+ 13 weeks agreement, full time, work every other weekend
+ Days
+ Evening shift.
Qualifications:
+ **Minimum one year (12 months) of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.**
+ A valid and current LPN license issued by the state of **NY**
+ A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
+ Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. LPN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
+ **Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away**
Duties:
+ Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Perform routine patient assessments and document findings accurately.
+ Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and maintain proper documentation of medication administration.
+ Regularly monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.
+ Assist with wound care, dressings, and rehabilitation procedures.
+ Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, progress, and assessments using electronic medical records (EMR) or other designated systems.
+ Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, registered nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
+ Educate patients and their families about healthcare procedures, medications, and post-treatment care instructions to promote effective self-management and recovery.
+ Follow established infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and safe disposal of medical waste.
+ Act swiftly and effectively during emergencies, implementing appropriate nursing intervention and alerting the appropriate personnel as necessary.
+ Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and regulatory requirements.
+ Maintains compliance and complies with annual requirements
+ Successfully completes required employment-related documentation, testing, and screenings in a timely manner
