SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to provide respiratory therapy expertise for a defined microsystem. Lead quality care initiatives to improve patient outcomes and patient safety. Collaborate in staff and patient education activities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

+ A degree from an accredited CoARC respiratory therapist program, with 3-5 years of experience in a specialized area of respiratory therapy such as adult or neonatal critical care.

+ RRT credential.

+ Currently licensed to practice as a respiratory by Pennsylvania Board of Medicine. ACCS or NPS credential.

PREFERRED

Master's Degree

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Excellent collaboration and consultation skills required

Must be familiar with process redesign

Excellent communication and teamwork skills required
