About the Role
Capgemini is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Architect to join our Salesforce Practice with a specific focus on the Telecom, Media & Technology (TMT) industries. This strategic role bridges business development, solution architecture, and delivery, supporting go-to-market initiatives and leading the solutioning of Salesforce proposals across Sales, Service, Marketing, and Data Cloud engagements.
Your role
+ Serve as the Salesforce solution lead during the pre-sales process—collaborating with account teams, industry SMEs, and delivery leaders to shape innovative, industry-relevant Salesforce solutions.
+ Lead and architect Salesforce proposals, including proactive pitches and RFP responses, ensuring solutions align to client goals, industry trends, and Salesforce best practices.
+ Partner closely with the Telecom, Media & Tech sector leadership to align Salesforce offerings with vertical-specific use cases and go-to-market strategies.
+ Develop industry-relevant accelerators, demos, and reference architectures that showcase Capgemini’s value across Salesforce clouds.
+ Own the technical solution narrative, pricing inputs, estimation, and transition into delivery teams post-win.
+ Contribute to sales targets with partial billability on strategic engagements you helped sell, providing continuity and early-phase architectural leadership.
+ Stay current on Salesforce releases, industry trends, and platform innovations that influence future customer roadmaps.
+ Help shape thought leadership, marketing content, and client-facing assets tied to Salesforce’s value in the TMT space.
Your skills and experience
+ 8 years of experience in enterprise CRM/SaaS solutioning, including 5 years with Salesforce platform solutions.
+ Strong experience working within or selling to the Telecom, Media, or High-Tech sectors.
+ Proven success in a pre-sales, solution architect, or GTM capacity at a consulting firm, systems integrator, or Salesforce partner.
+ Deep knowledge of at least 2 Salesforce clouds (e.g., Sales, Service, Marketing, Data, Industry Solutions).
+ Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, platform-aligned solutions.
+ Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement skills.
+ Experience working on proposal responses, pricing models, and solution narratives.Preferred Qualifications
+ Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Marketing Cloud Consultant).
+ Familiarity with Salesforce Industry Solutions, particularly Communications Cloud or Media Cloud.
+ Prior consulting experience in a global system integrator (GSI) environment.
+ Ability to operate in a hybrid pre-sales and light delivery role, bridging vision to execution.
