Test Automation Architect - TestComplete
Location - Camden, NJ
The Test Automation Architect is responsible for designing and implementing test automation frameworks, strategies, and solutions. The role involves collaborating with development and quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TestComplete, leveraging scripting languages such as VBScript, JavaScript, or Python
• Hands-on experience with any cloud platforms like BitBar/pCloudy/Browserstack etc., ensuring effective and efficient mobile automation testing
• Analyze and improve existing test automation strategies and processes.
• Drive automation adoption and productivity improvement through automation
• Collaborate with development and QA teams across shores and define efficient methods to create
• Ensure continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines include automated testing.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Lead initiatives to drive reusability and consistency with industry standard best practices
• Mentor and train team members on best practices in test automation.
• Create detailed documentation for testing strategies and processes.
Required Skills
• 12 years of experience in software testing and test automation and 3 years of experience working as a Test Architect and driving improvements
• Mandatory experience with SmartBear products such as TestComplete, ReadyAPI, and SoapUI
• Experience in mobile automation using tools like Appium.
• Proven experience in designing test automation frameworks using various scripless automation tools including but not limited to Test Complete, Tosca, Robot Framework.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD processes.
