Purpose:

The Director, Strategic Insights & Analytics (SIA) – Portfolio will be responsible for leading a team to monitor trends and identify insights across the external market and the J&J Innovative Medicine portfolio of brands. They will develop, enhance, and operationalize processes and technology platforms to communicate performance and integrate sources of insight for the organization. This individual will guide the roadmap for the J&J IM portfolio performance ecosystem and manage the delivery of performance communications to Sr. Leadership within J&J. This position will partner closely with SIA brand teams & serve as key members of the SIA Portfolio & Medical Insights leadership team.

You will be responsible to:

+ Analyze and communicate relevant and timely market trends and competitor performance to understand drivers & barriers for J&J IM portfolio

+ Lead processes and technology transformations through management of external partners through delivery and evolution of a brand performance reporting ecosystem

+ Lead talent strategy, including acquisition, development, and performance management for a team of direct reports.

+ Inspire and empower the team to excel with speed, agility, and accountability.

+ Cultivate meaningful internal and external partnerships to uncover important needs.

+ Promote a culture based on organizational values and serve as a role model for decision-making.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

+ BA/BS or equivalent experience required; advanced degree is desirable.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

+ Applicants must have at least 10 years of practical business experience in marketing, finance, or business analytics, as well as management consulting or related fields.

+ Business/market experience and industry knowledge to influence company/franchise level decisions and strategies are required.

+ A minimum of 2 years of people management experience is required in addition to a proven track record with talent development and empowering an accountable team.

+ Proven analytical skills and learning agility to coach and train colleagues across multiple functions.

+ Demonstrated ability to integrate and leverage insights and analytics.

+ Experience in developing comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions.

+ Ability to work in the Titusville, NJ office and travel up to 10% domestically

Preferred:

+ Diversity of experience is preferred, with demonstrated learning agility to be able to move across different types of markets.

+ Experience working in a regulated environment is a plus.

+ Candidates must have a broad perspective on management, a strong grasp of business knowledge, and the capacity to think strategically.
