As a **Senior Foundry Process Engineer** , you will focus on optimizing manufacturing processes and driving improvements in equipment performance and process reliability. You will oversee comprehensive assignments, contribute directly to process improvement initiatives, and work cross-functionally to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency in our operations. This role requires strong technical problem-solving, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Process Improvement & Optimization
+ Identify and propose innovative process improvement initiatives to enhance cost-effectiveness, quality, and efficiency.
+ Lead continuous improvement projects with a focus on **Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)** —addressing availability, performance, and quality.
+ Establish and refine equipment and process standards to maximize operational reliability and efficiency.
+ Analyze production data and performance trends to identify opportunities for improved process control and optimization.
+ Evaluate and implement advanced statistical and process analysis techniques to monitor and improve system performance.
Foundry Operations & Technical Support
+ Provide hands-on technical support for high-speed automated equipment, troubleshooting production processes to minimize downtime.
+ Partner with operations teams to resolve process bottlenecks and improve manufacturing workflows.
+ Develop and revise clear, detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production documentation.
+ Design and implement operational control systems to enable effective performance monitoring and enhance process reliability.
Cross-Functional Project Management
+ Drive cross-departmental projects, including process enhancements, quality improvements, and cost reduction initiatives.
+ Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to develop solutions for improving equipment and system performance.
+ Manage project lifecycle activities, including planning, execution, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
+ Prepare and deliver compelling project presentations and performance updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Compliance & Safety
+ Ensure processes are in compliance with **GMP** , **FDA** , **ISO** , and other relevant regulations.
+ Participate in **GMP audits** , facilitating corrective actions and stakeholder communications as required.
+ Promote a culture of safety and foster safe working conditions throughout the manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
Education
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Skills and Experience
+ Solid experience in process engineering in a **manufacturing environment** , ideally within foundry or high-speed automation.
+ Strong analytical skills with expertise in statistical tools and methods for process monitoring and improvement.
+ Capable of working in a **team-based environment** with excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
+ Working knowledge of **FDA, ISO, GMP** , and related regulatory frameworks.
+ High attention to detail and a proactive approach to addressing process inefficiencies.
Other Requirements
+ Travel: May require occasional domestic and/or international travel (up to 10%).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$77,000- $124,500
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
