# Project Overview:
Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG) is developing a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) production and export facility on a site located on the western shoreline of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. The project base scope will include two (2) identical LNG trains, two (2) LNG Storage Tanks, one (1) LNG Carrier Berth, and associated utilities/facilities. The Project is to be constructed on a parcel of land located along State Highway 87 south of Port Arthur, Texas, between the inner coastal waterway bridge and Keith Lake.
As the #1 LNG EPC contractor by installed capacity, Bechtel has the capability to successfully deliver a broad range of LNG projects through our integrated EPC self-perform model, strategic partnerships, and proven experience in LNG project delivery. Partnering with Bechtel means lower cost, shorter delivery schedules, and greater certainty of outcomes for our customers.
# Job Summary:
In this role, you will lead a team of Workforce Development Coordinators and Craft Professionals as primary role is audits and compliance of exists and rolling out new programs. Your strategic input will enable the IR / Workforce Development team to develop and implement process improvement initiatives that facilitate better craft professional environment and base line of skills. \#LI-TH1
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Performs regular audits of project orientation and craft training in all areas of craft disciplines.
+ Heavy focus on compliance as per project execution plan, and ensuring completeness of training is completed prior to work activities
+ Prepares or coordinates development of craft training as identified by construction, workforce services or project teams.
+ Ensures data is input and that records and data management are handled as per SWPPs.
+ Ensures consistency and functional alignment of craft professional testing/skills assessment testing, guidelines and procedures are adhered to at project.
+ Monitors and coordinates the evaluations and training of craft skills and secondary specialties which include but are not limited to: Pipefitter, Electrical, Equipment Operation, Millwright, Carpentry, Concrete, Rebar and Structural Ironworking.
+ Assists in the development of Craft Competency Compliance to ES&H core processes and Standard Work Processes and Procedures (SWPPs)
+ Attends third party trade testing to verify skills competencies as Bechtel representative.
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9 -12 years of relevant work experience
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ Must have proven track record in records and data management, ensuring data is input and handled as per SWPPs.
+ Must have proven track record of alignment with managers and driving training; this position is not passive role and must be active in scheduling.
+ Must have robust working knowledge of ESH Core Procedures and SWPPs.
+ Must have proven track record in coordination and development of skills assessment tests.
