    + Monday - Friday

    You Will Be Responsible For:

    + Approves consumer and home equity line of credit loan applications within the parameters established by the Board of Directors. Reviews and analyzes the disposition of loan applications and credit documents. Interviews applicants. Describes the application review process and provides recommendations.

    + Manages the daily operations of the department in an efficient and effective manner. Establishes and maintains an efficient and productive working environment within the department based on continuous and effective staff communication. Achieves established departmental goals within defined timelines, as well as defines and implements a measurement of acceptable staff performance to safeguard the Credit Union's loan portfolio.

    + Assists in establishing new loan policies and/or the revision of existing loan policies, programs, products, and procedures to best meet member service and organizational goals. Ensures that loan documents, lending policies and practices conform to internal, external regulatory, and statutory compliance requirements.

    + Responsible for the daily operation of the Credit Card, Gift Card, Collateral Protection Insurance, GAP, Mechanical Breakdown, and Payment Protection Insurance Programs. Responsible for vehicle loan titles and registrations, and mortgage recordings and satisfactions.

    + Is the head designate for the credit card department; oversees daily reports, account maintenance, card ordering, over-limit, delinquency, and fraud monitoring and account management. Prepares and reviews loan reports and manages performance of loans and products.

    Qualifications

    What You Will Need:

    + Bachelors degree with a major in business administration, finance, management,

    + **OR** Four (4) years experience in consumer lending

    + One (1) year of experience in mortgage lending

    + Registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS). (Preferred)

    Job Summary:

    The Loan Manager will manage the consumer and mortgage loan administrative departments of the Credit Union. Assists with the development of and implements best practices in loan processes and procedures. Supports the front and back office lending teams and establishes positive working relationships. Responsible for underwriting, closing, filing, safekeeping, and servicing of the Credit Union's loan portfolio.
