    **Schedule:** Full-time (36)

    **Shift** : Days, 6 am- 6:30 pm 3 days a week. Weekends and holidays are required. This position supports a heavy ortho/trauma unit in Neuro-Joint-Spine.

    **Location:** 9395 CROWN CREST BLVD, Parker, 80138

    The role you’ll contribute:

    Provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. Assists the healthcare team in coordinating, prioritizing, and communicating patient, physician and staff needs. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

    + Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by a RN. Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members.

    + Assists care team in achieving daily patient and family goals.

    + Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs.

    + Promptly triages and responds to patient call lights.

    The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

    Required qualifications:

    + **_High School GED or diploma_**

    + **_CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Current in CO_**

    + **_BLS - Basic Life Support from the Amercian Heart Association (AHA)_**

    Preferred qualifications:

    + **_Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program_**

    + **_Six months previous CNA experience_**

    + **_Previous nursing unit secretary or medical office experience_**
