Work effectively in a team environment to ensure facilities and production equipment are consistently in good working condition by performing repairs and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ 1-2 years Maintenance or equivalent experience

+ Valid NYS Driver’s License

Responsibilities:

+ Performs routine maintenance of facility and production equipment as designated by the Maintenance Manager.

+ Assures proper functioning of various security systems (fire detection and suppression, building access, etc.)

+ Maintains an efficient work schedule based on assigned tasks.

+ Conducts preventative maintenance servicing by ensuring work is completed in an efficient and timely manner.

+ Actively engages in the site’s Environmental, Health and Safety programs to ensure compliance with all tasks and projects performed.

+ Cross-trains other employees as needed based upon knowledge and experience.

+ Frequent interaction with site management, employees, internal and/or external suppliers, manufacturers, etc. to address equipment concerns.

+ Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on site needs.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Desired Characteristics:

+ Special education and/or vocational training.

+ Basic knowledge of plumbing and carpentry skills.

+ Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic operation and repair.

+ Basic knowledge HVAC system and tool knowledge.

+ Industrial machining equipment diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

The pay for this position is $21.60/hr. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 5/30/25.
