Role Overview

**Sodexo Education** is seeking a **Child Nutrition Food Operations Manager 3** to assist with managing KIPP Schools' large food and nutrition program located in **Houston, TX** . The Food Operations Manager works with the General Manager and clients in all matters relating to the National School Breakfast & Lunch Programs and Food Management for the contract. The Operations Manager will oversee directing day to day operations of our dining facilities and will assume GM responsibilities in his/hers absence. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. What You'll Do

+ Deliver high quality food service;

+ Achieve company and client financial targets and goals;

+ Develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

+ Create a positive environment;

+ Have oversight of day-to-day operations by making sure menu planning, meal pattern compliance, recipes, and HACCP standards are being followed; and

+ Create a positive environment, on a schedule that is typically M-F with nights/weekends off.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degreeor equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 yearswork experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
