We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Intern to assist our Human Resources department with an electronic file clean-up project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, organizing, updating, and archiving HR files to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on HR experience and learning about HR compliance and best practices.

Position Type: Internship (Part-Time/ Temporary)
Key Responsibilities
• Review existing electronic HR files for completeness and accuracy.
• Organize documents according to established naming conventions, retention schedules, and folder structures.
• Archive and delete outdated files in accordance with company policies and record retention laws.
• Create or update an electronic file inventory and documentation tracker.
• Ensure sensitive and confidential information is properly handled and secured.
• Collaborate with HR team members to identify discrepancies and gather missing information as needed.
• Support additional administrative tasks related to electronic file management.
• Assist with developing recommendations for improved file management practices going forward.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) and comfort with electronic filing systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience handling documents or performing administrative tasks is a plus, but not required.
