    There will be an application screening for the position to verify that the minimum qualifications (education & experience) have been satisfied.     Written Exam: OVSD tests on Wednesdays. Once you have applied, it has been determined that your application is complete, and you have met the minimum qualifications, you will receive an invitation to test via email with the date of the exam. Please monitor your inbox for more information on testing/next steps. .

     

    Oral/Technical Exam: DATE TBD

    If you have already taken and passed the Instructional Assistant Competency Exam with one of the following districts, notify a member of the Personnel Commission staff at the time you are invited to the test:

    • Fountain Valley School District

    • Westminster School District

    • Newport-Mesa Unified School District

    • Huntington Beach Union High School District

     

    Documents/Attachments Required

     

    + Certificate Copy (Valid and current Child Development Teacher Permit OR valid and current temporary county certificate toward Child Development Teacher Permit, with proof of permit within 2 months of employment.)

    + CPR/First Aid Certification

    + Proof of HS Graduation (High school diploma, high school equivalent, GED certificate, high school transcripts, college degree, college transcripts are all accepted as proof of HS graduation.)
