Job Description

Position Summary and Responsibilities:
ASNT NDT Level III certified in Liquid Penetrant (PT), Radiographic (RT), Ultrasonic (UT), Visual and Optical (VT), Electromagnetic (ET), and Leak Testing (MSLT) NDT test methods. Develop NDT procedures and techniques, administer training and certification of NDT personnel, and provide NDT support of manufacturing processes (welding, machining, etc.).
Programs include: ASME Section III (Nuclear), Section VIII, NQA-1 and B31.3 fabrication, various AWS Code structures, NAVSEA structures and components, NADCAP NDE (PT & RT), and Fracture Critical Flight Hardware.
Qualifications:
Education:
Requires a BS degree in a recognized field of engineering or a closely related field of science. Normally requires approximately ten (10) years of applicable professional experience or a combination of graduate study and experience. However, assignments are primarily made on the basis of demonstrated capabilities and reputation in the area of specialization.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in AS9100, NADCAP, ASME, or NQA-1 Quality Systems.
