    Our Sr. Principal Software Product Owner/CAM Engineer will work in an exciting, adaptive, and engaging environment enabling rapid learning to drive success.

     

    The candidate will serve as Product Owner and CAM for a Software Team Interacting with the Systems Engineering Team, Software Architects, Scrum Masters, and Software Engineers, supporting a large program.  This position will support the shaping of the future of NC3 defense systems for the armed forces.  This position is located onsite in Richardson, TX.

     

    •** **What You Will Do:** ** 

    + You will actas Product Owner, bridging the Software Team and the Systems Engineering Team, helping us define and manage our backlog and execution.

    + You will work directly with the IPT Lead, Scrum Masters and Software Engineers performing Software-Systems work used in aMission Critical System program.

    + You will act as the CAM (Control Account Manager) for the scope related to your team, ensuring flawless execution.

    + You will interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a large program.

    + You will have the opportunity to mentor Interns, Junior,Senior, and Principal engineers.

    Qualifications** **you must have:

    + Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.

    + Previous experience as a Product Owner following Agile/SAFe(Scaled Agile Framework).

    + Previous experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management Systems).

    + Previous experience as a CAM (Control Account Manager).

    Qualifications We** **Prefer** **:

    + Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance.

    + Experience with Agile SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).

    + Experience with Requirements Management (Decomposition, Derivation).

    + Experience as a Software-System engineer.

    + Experience with UML, SysML, MBSE and CAMEO Modeling tools.

    + Experience with Jira.

    **Onsite:** Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

    The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

     

    RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

    This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
