    Under the direction of a qualified physician, the **PET/CT Technologist** will perform a variety of PET CT and CT procedures that require the incumbent to work independently and use proper judgement. The individual may perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    JFK Advanced Medical Imaging of Old Bridge * outpatient facility

    *Must have Diagnostic Radiography License.

    *Must have** **Nuclear Medicine Technician Certification Board or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.

    *Must have** **AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

     

    There are 20 staff members and 1 doctor

    Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

    + Graduate of an AMA approved school or Nuclear Medicine Technology.

    + Performance of all diagnostic PET/CT Scan procedures.

    + Department 3321332 only: Successful completion of the AMI IV Certification Program.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

    Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

    + Preferably 1-2 years of experience

    Licenses and Certifications Required:

    + Diagnostic Radiography License.

    + Nuclear Medicine Technician Certification Board or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.

    + AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

    Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

    + Computed Tomography Certification
