Join Our Team as a Part-Time Dispatcher at Fairview!

Are you looking for a rewarding part-time position where you can make a difference? Fairview is seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to join our Security team. This role offers a 0.2 FTE (16 hours per pay period) on the night shift, working every other Saturday and Sunday from 10 PM to 6:30 AM.

Job Overview

As a Hospital Dispatcher, you will be at the heart of our Security Dispatch Operations Center, ensuring the safety and security of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

+ **Monitoring CCTV Surveillance Cameras:** Keep a vigilant eye on a large bank of cameras to ensure the safety of our premises.

+ **Prioritizing Incoming Calls:** Efficiently handle and prioritize calls, dispatching Security Officers as needed.

+ **Operating CAD Systems:** Utilize Computer Aided Dispatch systems to manage and document activities.

+ **Monitoring Fire Computers:** Stay alert to fire alarms and take appropriate actions.

+ **Providing Exceptional Customer Service:** Maintain a calm and professional demeanor during stressful situations, offering top-notch service to callers and on-site visitors.

Preferred Qualifications

+ **Education:** Associate of Arts or Technical degree in telecommunications or law enforcement.

+ **Experience:** 1 year of dispatch or hospital security experience.
