Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

+ Ensure the safety of the work environment at all times by complying with Safety policies, rules and regulations

+ Manage work crews and ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and per job specifications

+ Plan and coordinate daily operations in conjunction with project Superintendent including scheduling, materials ordering/inventory, and equipment needs/maintenance

+ Report labor, equipment and materials used

+ Analyze and report actual costs to budget

+ Communicate with other parties on the project including Superintendent, Project Manager, Engineers, Inspectors, Vendors and Construction Managers

+ Train employees in proper and safe procedures, leading by example

+ Read plans and specifications (application rates, grades, slope, drainage, etc.)

Required Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of progressive construction experience

+ OSHA 10 (OHSA 30 preferred)

+ Must past post-offer drug screening and be subject to random, post-incident/accident and reasonable suspicion testing (Drug Free Employer)

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to travel out of town to worksites throughout NY and VT is required including night and weekend work as required

+ Proven leadership and supervisory abilities

+ Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to report to work on time with record acceptable under company's insurance

+ Ability to rapidly learn computer and software applications for record keeping and reporting

Compensation:

Competitive wage commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit package including company paid health, dental and vision insurance with a company-funded retirement plan.

Base Salary Range $36,000-$112,500

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as related work experience, market conditions, education/training, certifications and other credentials, overtime when applicable, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
