The Foundations & Endowments Specialty Practice (FESP) Institutional Investment Manager 2 is a senior level manager who contributes to overall practice best thinking investment solutions and guides the implementation of strategic and tactical investment strategies in coordination with other senior team leaders. Works with the most sophisticated and demanding national caliber clients. Oversees the development of investment policy guidelines. Develops and maintains a pronounced public profile as a leader in the not for profit community in respective geographies and seeks to become a Center of Influence for the benefit of the practice. May include supervisory duties for investment support staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Senior member of team with highly evolved investment skills who can devise, implement and communicate effective investment strategies for complex, sophisticated Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) clients. A superior communicator and presenter who can build confidence in with the most demanding clients. Able to develop and maintain robust client relationships and cultivate constituents among client staff and board members. Responsibilities will be generally evenly divided between:
* Serving as an investment thought leader;
* A high-level client service contact;
* A cultivator of developing relationships; and
* A leader in new business presentations.
Core Responsibilities will be focused, but not limited to servicing client and investor advisory solutions including:
* High capacity for independent critical thinking applied to developing differentiated investment solutions;
* Very strong presentation and quantitative explanatory capabilities to develop an investment narrative;
* Very highly developed intellectual framework to interact with internal and external partners in a manner that inspires confidence.
May have broader practice-wide responsibilities as a thought leader in areas of investment topics and best communication practices, such as:
* Development of and contribution to practice team best thinking on investment strategies and communications approaches related to investment markets;
* Cultivation of existing and new relationships to expand practice opportunities within geographic markets and participation in new business process and presentations;
* Management and oversight of complex investment portfolios and Face to face client interaction to strengthen relationship and communicate strategic positioning and investment outcomes; and
* Providing leadership for deal team in new business opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree
2. 10 or more years of Institutional Investment Management experience
3. Experience dealing with C-suite-level clients and leadership of not for profit boards and committees
4. Strong communication skills (written and verbal), excellent presentation, analytic and quantitative reasoning skills
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
6. Strong understanding of Institutional Investment Management trends
7. Effective time and personal management
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Graduate degree in economics, finance, accounting, or related business field or professional designation
2. 15 or more year of Institutional Investment Management experience
3. Attainment of CFA or CIMA designation strongly preferred
