    PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for an Electrical Journeyman in Brownstown, Michigan. The ideal candidate must be licensed in Michigan and have a least 3 years' experience with installing conveyors. The right candidate will be able to work on their own in a commercial environment and have electrical tools.     _Note: The hourly rate for this position is $45 - $50 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.     Responsibilities:

    + Demonstrating technical aptitude in installing power supply wiring and conduit, including EMT, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, and cable trays

    + Conducting troubleshooting of electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits

    + Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems such as switchgear, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, and conveyor systems

    + Testing electrical systems or continuity of circuits using devices like volt/ohm meters to ensure compatibility and safety

    + Inspecting systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or compliance issues with codes

    + Diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate and correct breakdown causes

    + Performing other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + Must have a Valid Michigan Licensed Journeyman

    + Must have a minimum of OSHA 10 Certification

    + Must be able to past a criminal background (7 years)

    + Minimum of 3 electrical installations of material handling systems

    + Must be reliable and have available transportation to get to job sites

    + Must be willing to take direction and work in a team environment

    + Ability to read blueprints

    + Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring

    + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools

    + Skillful use of test meters and diagnostic equipment

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
