Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('SpinCo') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
+ Administrative & Executive Support to the NY Team
+ Provide administrative support to the department
+ Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
+ Identify and track policy activity across the country, along with monitoring legislative developments in key local jurisdictions
+ Provide logistical support for political engagement at all levels of government
+ Track and prepare briefing memos on key elections and political developments across the country
+ Create and edit distribution lists, correspondence, legislative reports, and presentations
+ Assist with team projects and research, as needed
Basic Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 1+ years of relevant work experience
+ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Desired Characteristics:
+ Bachelor’s degree in English and/or Political Science, Government, Public Affairs, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ Demonstrated familiarity with the legislative process.
+ Outstanding writing skills and to distill complex policy issues into simple explanations and compelling messages.
+ Solid project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
