The Work
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Casual Part Time Principal Systems Engineer for Radar Modeling and Simulation product development\.
\- In this role, you will define requirements and interfaces, perform trade studies, establish architecture and design, support implementation, develop test and verification plans, and support integration and sustainment activities\.
\- In addition, you will interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multidisciplinary engineering teams on significant technical matters\.
\- The successful candidate will have expert level experience with the development of Scalable S\-Band Radar \(SSR\) Modeling and Simulation products\.
\- Must be a US Citizen\.; This position will require a government security clearance\.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access\.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent degree combined with 20 years of related work experience
• Expert Knowledge of Scalable S\-Band Radar \(SSR\) Modeling and Simulation product development
• Experience with computer architectures, hardware sizing, processing allocation and deployment
• Experience developing radar system and software requirements and design
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance\. This position is located at a facility that requires special access\.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with radar signal processing and algorithms
• Experience in the integration and test of radar systems or radar subsystems
• Familiarity with Project Management / Earned Value
• Strong oral and written communication skills\.
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.
**Clearance Level:** Secret

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
