    **Description:** You will be a Test Technician for our team, responsible for testing, tuning, and troubleshooting mid to highly complex military RF microwave hybrid assemblies\.     What You Will Be Doing

    As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for the following:

    • Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences; lays out and assembles units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications\.

    • Adjusts and calibrates systems as required; modifies electronic equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches\. Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed\.

    • Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties\.

    • Determines types of tests to be performed, approves and suggests modifications to testing equipment, and analyzes test results to evaluate performance of products and equipment\.

    • Assists engineers in design and development of test procedures for new products and recommends product improvements or manufacturing modifications\.

    • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures\.

    MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\. A company\-sponsored interim secret is required to start\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    Previous experience in the test, tune, and troubleshoot of a variety of complex RF Microwave Hybrid assemblies

     

    Ability to work under a microscope as required to test, tune and troubleshoot RF microwave hybrid assemblies

     

    Ability to utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers and other similar tools; Good dexterity, eye/hand coordination

     

    Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings; computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities

    Ability to work in a team environment; Good interpersonal, teaming and communication skills

    Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance and must be able to obtain at least an Interim Secret Security clearance prior to start, which requires U\.S\. citizenship

    Desired Skills:

    Experience operating mechanical vibration equipment

     

    Experience epoxy components in accordance with J\-STD\-001 to support the tuning process

     

    Experience with data analysis of RF Microwave test data

     

    Experience in writing test procedures and troubleshooting from schematics

     

    Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD controlled environment

     

    Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices

    Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environment

    **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

    **Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
