    Summary:

    We are growing our ASIC Design and µArchitecture team within RL and are seeking engineers at all levels who will work with a world-class group of researchers and engineers using your digital design skills to implement and contribute to the development and optimization of state-of-the-art SoCs that accelerate machine-learning and compute-vision workloads.

    Required Skills:

    Digital Design Engineer Responsibilities:

    1. Contribute to ASIC digital microarchitecture and design for low-power interconnect and power management IPs

    2. Contribute to chip-level integration, verification plan development and verification.

    3. Support hand-off and integration of blocks into larger System-on-Chip environments.

    4. Work with architects to map algorithms on the hardware

    5. Assist with performance/power analysis of the design and help meet the power requirements.

    6. Work with FPGA/Emulation engineers to perform early prototyping.

    7. Work across disciplines, brainstorm big ideas and build new methodologies

    Minimum Qualifications:

    8. 3+ years of experience as a Hardware Design Engineer for production silicon shipped in volume

    9. Experience in digital design µArchitecture and RTL coding

    10. Experience in SoC bus and interconnect protocols

    11. Experience with at least 1 procedural programming language (C, C++, Python etc.)

    12. Experience with RTL integration or generation using automation tools

    13. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.

    14. Experience in SoC integration and ASIC architecture

    15. Experience with low power design and optimization, including UPF flow.

    16. Experience with NoC, memory control, DMA uArchitecture

    17. Knowledge of DDR memory, PCIe, or USB protocols

    18. Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

    Public Compensation:

    $114,000/year to $166,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
