As the Materials Manager for Fluke’s Health Solutions (FHS), you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, procurement, storage, logistics, and distribution of materials and products according to FHS needs and customer requirements. This role ensures optimal inventory levels, optimal raw material cost, supports production schedules, and works to streamline supply chain operations within the manufacturing facility.

Primary Responsibilities
+ Lead the charge in achieving impactful results while prioritizing the safety of our associates, maintaining product and service quality, and ensuring on-time delivery with optimal cost and inventory management
+ Provide leadership for planning and scheduling to support accurate and timely receipts, shipments, logistic costs and overall material management
+ Develop and implement material management strategies to support manufacturing operations.
+ Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies.
+ Collaborate with operations, engineering, and purchasing teams to ensure accurate forecasting and material availability.
+ Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
+ Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues.
+ Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution.
+ Lead and develop the materials management team, ensuring adherence to safety and operational policies.
+ Monitor material and logistic costs, identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
+ Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and FHS policies.
+ Utilize ERP/MRP systems to manage materials data and drive data-driven decisions.
+ Be a change agent in Daily Management to drive results through Safety, Quality, Deliver, Inventory and Productivity
+ Utilize Gemba techniques to foster and extend our Continuous Improvement (Fortive Business System) and Lean Culture
+ Conduct regular reviews to ensure alignment with improvement projects and key performance indicators, maintaining a consistent focus on progress and excellence.
+ Collaborate with HR on organizational and talent development, talent risk management, and
+ succession planning initiatives.
+ Ability to motivate and inspire a team through effective communication, both upstream and downstream.
+ Responsible for ~$3M in inventory, ~$4M in logistic spend, 2 Buyer/Planners and 1 hourly employee
Qualifications:
Required:
+ 5+ years of experience in materials management or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong understanding of inventory control, procurement, logistics and production planning processes.
+ Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Agresso, Microsoft Dynamics).
+ Proficiency in digital tools including Microsoft Office products (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
+ Proven track record in controlling costs to budget
+ Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles with tangible results.
+ Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
+ Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
+ APICS or similar supply chain certification preferred.
+ Ability to travel up to 15% of the time

Bonus or Equity
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 71,100.00 - 132,100.00
