The Business Systems Analyst must be an in-house IT Business Expert with strong analysis and technical skills for Rush Enterprises business processes and applications in accordance with Rush IT goals.

Responsibilities:
+ Work within IT project teams and be responsible for eliciting requirements from stakeholders, analyze the requirements, document them in User Story and Acceptance Criteria Format.
+ Work closely with technical staff to ensure requirements are understood and delivered to the business.
+ Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis.
+ Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
+ Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and requirements.
+ Utilize experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required.
+ Work independently with users to define concepts and under collaboration with project managers.
+ Drive and challenge business units on assumptions of how will successfully execute plans.
+ Work with the business to define scope or priority as well as negotiate changes.

Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in related software/technical field.
+ At least 3-5 years’ experience in analysis and process mapping to bridge information technology solutions with the business.
+ Expertise in custom application projects (Building Applications).
+ Understand or have worked in ASP.Net (VB/C#) environments.
+ Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle process as it relates to Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
+ Experience using a requirements management tool like TFS or Jira.
