    Position Title: Regional Executive Chef

     

    Reports To: Executive Chef

     

    Salary: $115,000 to $130,000

    Job Summary

    Working as a Regional Executive Chef with the Culinaire Group, you are responsible for overseeing all culinary functions for a dining account. You will manage and lead a team of associates and oversee all safety and sanitation as it pertains to the account. Additionally, as part of the culinary team, you will be responsible for the following:

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manages cost controls and controls expenditures for the account

    + Plans and creates all menus

    + Purchases and manages inventory

    + Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary team

    + Develops and implements operation’s plans and systems to ensure contractual obligations are met

    + Manages cost controls and control expenditures for the region

    + Acts as a Regional leader who models competencies and behaviors which that support company values

    + Plans and creates menus to include influencing the menu for chef’s tables, catering expos, etc.

    + Develops and communicates strategies for improving customer experience

    + Interacts professionally with a diverse group of associates, suppliers, clients and customers

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + At least 10 year of Executive Chef experience with a large catering company or venue that manages a catering department

    + Extensive high-end catering experience with large group (plated for up to 2,000)

    + Off-site prem experience is a huge PLUS as they must understand logistics

    + Leads a large team with heavy food production for catered event

    + Extremely High Quality Controls and Standards

    + Strategic Culinary Vision and Direction

    + Menu Development and Innovation

    + Task Force experience so they are willing to travel and work with other Chefs

    + Administratively Astute
