    Job Summary

    The Catering Manager oversees all aspects of the Catering Department, including training staff, managing event logistics, and supervising set-up and breakdown. Ensures high-quality service and maintains client satisfaction throughout events.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Manages all catering events and logistics

    + Ensures quality, sanitation, and facility standards are met

    + Collaborates with the Chef to develop menus

    + Trains staff on service, presentation, and customer experience

    + Monitors labor and food costs for each event

    + Maintains strong communication with clients and internal teams

    + Supports all foodservice-related operations

    + Performs additional duties as needed

    Qualifications:

    + 2 years of food service experience, including 1 year in management

    + Required catering experience in foodservice settings such as hotels, corporate dining, or education

    + Knowledge of catering trends, sanitation, food costs, and presentation

    + Strong financial and budgeting skills

    + Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

    + ServSafe Certification
