ERP Project Manager
Job Summary: The Epicor Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering Epicor Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation and upgrade projects. This role involves collaboration with internal teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure project objectives are achieved within the defined scope, schedule, and budget. The Epicor Project Manager will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support, while managing resources, risks, and deliverables effectively.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Management
+ Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, and resource allocation.
+ Define project objectives and success criteria in alignment with organizational goals.
+ Manage Epicor ERP implementation projects through all phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
+ Provide Project status and metrics for Business partners and Senior Management
+ Lead weekly steering committee meetings, providing status, issue resolution and risk mitigation
+ Stakeholder and Team Collaboration
+ Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and user stories to drive understanding and accountability while also establishing best practices within the Epicor user community.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams, business users, and external vendors.
+ Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and action plans.
+ Technical Oversight
+ Coordinate with IT team Lead to customize, configure, and deploy Epicor ERP solutions.
+ Oversee system testing, data migration, and validation processes to ensure project quality.
+ Compile and maintain a roadmap of future development activities based on Epicor functionality, company requirements, and user feedback.
+ Risk and Issue Management
+ Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
+ Proactively address project challenges to prevent delays or budget overruns.
+ Training and Support
+ Oversee end-user training sessions to ensure successful system adoption.
+ Develop documentation and procedural guidelines for ERP, including business process mapping.
+ Vendor and Resource Management
+ Manage relationships with Epicor and other relevant vendors, ensuring deliverables meet project requirements.
+ Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure adequate support for project execution.
+ Performance Monitoring
+ Track project progress against established KPIs and adjust plans as necessary to achieve goals.
+ Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelors Degree required
+ 5 or more years of program management experience working ERP systems, preferably within Aerospace and Defense Industries.
+ PMP certification preferred
+ Highly analytical and detail-oriented
+ Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project expertise
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills
+ Intimate knowledge of people management skills, particularly influence management and conflict resolution
+ General knowledge of operations, including scheduling, procurement, manufacturing, test engineering, and quality systems
+ Strong attention to detail and follow-up
+ Must be a US Citizen
This position is at our Parsippany NJ office location.
