**Position Summary:** Primary responsibility is to operate, change/over and troubleshoot all equipment in assigned work area safely and within specifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

+ High School diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent

+ Three (3) years’ experience in a related technical area.

+ Meet all Essential Skills and Experience requirements for an Operator Level I, II and III.

+ Two (2) years’ experience as Machine Operator at ZF Transmissions Gray Court, LLC, in the respective area.

+ Strength in CNC machining functions, included but not limited, such as to grinding, drilling, milling, hard turning, honing, and deburring.

+ Knowledge of manufacturing processes, e.g. hobbing, broaching, turning and gear cutting techniques and welding

+ Understanding of metal hardening techniques including inductive hardening, and vacuum carbonating.

+ Comprehension in CNC machine change over procedures.

+ Demonstrated knowledge in CNC machine set up procedures.

+ Demonstrate understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.

+ Demonstrate understanding of PLC Program Logic.

+ Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

+ Demonstrated knowledge in Tool Setup Operations.

+ Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
