Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicles, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Base Operations team supporting fleet-level maintenance, repair, and upgrade operations. The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, high attention to detail, and a can-do, team player attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

**Location:** Foster City, CA

**Pay Range:** $50-54/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

+ Create and update technical documentation for service remove/replace and vehicle maintenance procedures.

+ Develop diagnostics/troubleshooting and wiring harness information.

+ Document software programming and post-repair bring-up processes.

+ Author fleet upgrade and rework procedures.

+ Produce technical service bulletins and first responder documentation.

What's Needed?

+ 4-6 years of experience as a technical writer or 5+ years as an Automotive Repair or Diagnostic Technician.

+ Proficiency with Google Suite and MS Office suite.

+ Experience with topic-based writing concepts and markup languages (HTML, XML, or DITA XML).

+ Strong written and oral communication skills, along with cross-functional teamwork abilities.

+ Ability to multi-task and manage workload to meet project deliverable deadlines.
