    The Adel DeSoto Minburn Community School District is seeking registered nurses interested in substituting for half or full days for the 2024-25 school year in 1 of our 5 buildings.Requirements:

     

    + Valid state license to practice as a registered nurse

    + Certificate as public school nurse or any other certificate required by the state

    Primary roles and Essential Functions of this teacher include:

    + Administer first aid and medications

    + Update & maintain accurate health records

    + Observe students to detect health needs

    + Assume authority, in the absence of a physician, for the care of a student or staff member who has suffered injury or emergency illness

    + Facilitate normal development and positive student response to nursing interventions

    + Promote health & safety
