    Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Welder 1st Shift to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing of high-quality metal components. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Welder 1st Shift

    **Location:** Freeburg, IL

    **Pay Range:** $22/hr

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Create quality welds according to blueprints.

    + Inspect welds for accuracy and quality assurance.

    + Prepare products for welding by grinding, drilling, and cutting steel/aluminum parts.

    + Change welding wire as needed and follow all safety protocols.

    + Maintain a clean work area and perform routine maintenance on equipment.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    + Good hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity.

    + Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 40-60 lbs occasionally.

    + Sufficient reading and writing skills to follow work orders and prepare reports.

    + Must pass a respiratory test per OSHA requirements.
