Job Summary and Qualifications
The Privileged Access Management (PAM) Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for guiding the PAM team in the secure management of privileged accounts and access within the organization. This role involves developing and implementing PAM strategies, technologies, policies, and procedures to protect sensitive information and systems from unauthorized access. The PAM Manager will lead, inspire, and motivate the team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. They will exhibit a high degree of self-motivation as well as possess excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and relationship-building skills.
The manager will play a critical role in strategic planning and decision-making, ensuring that PAM initiatives align with the organization's overall information security strategy. A strong partnership with the Information Protection and Security department along with collaborating with various departments is critical to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. Regular reporting on PAM activities, metrics, and outcomes to senior management will be essential, providing insights and recommendations for enhancing the organization's security posture. The PAM Manager will also be responsible for overseeing the development of PAM training and awareness programs for users.

+ **Policy Development** : Develop and implement comprehensive PAM policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the secure management of privileged accounts and access.
+ **Access Administration** : Oversee the administration and monitoring of privileged accounts and access, ensuring proper controls are in place to prevent unauthorized access.
+ **Audits and Assessments** : Conduct regular audits and assessments of privileged access controls to identify and mitigate risks. Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards.
+ **Collaboration** : Collaborate with IT, security, and other departments to integrate PAM solutions with existing systems and workflows. Facilitate cross-functional communication and cooperation.
+ **Compliance** : Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to privileged access management. Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards.
+ **Incident Response** : Respond to security incidents involving privileged access, leading investigations and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
+ **Training and Awareness** : Develop and deliver PAM training and awareness programs for users, promoting a culture of security and vigilance.
+ **Technology and Innovation** : Stay updated on the latest PAM technologies and trends. Evaluate and implement new tools and solutions to continuously improve the PAM program.
+ **Reporting** : Prepare and present regular reports on PAM activities, metrics, and outcomes to senior management. Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing security posture.
+ **Strategic Planning** : Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the organization's overall information security strategy, aligning PAM initiatives with broader security goals for the organization.
What qualifications you will need:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or related
+ Three or more years of experience in a leadership role
+ Five or more years of experience in Identity and Access, Architecture, Security or System
Licenses, Certifications and Training
+ PAM-specific Certifications
+ CISSP
+ Microsoft security-related certifications
+ CISM
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Behaviors
+ **Technical Expertise** : Proficiency with PAM tools such as CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust, or similar. Strong understanding of PAM technologies and their implementation.
+ **Regulatory Knowledge** : In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PCI, SOX, etc.) related to privileged access management. Ability to ensure compliance and adapt to changes in regulations.
+ **Analytical Skills** : Excellent analytical skills to assess and mitigate risks associated with privileged access. Ability to conduct thorough audits and assessments.
+ **Problem-solving** : Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve security incidents involving privileged access. Ability to implement effective corrective actions.
+ **Project Management** : Experience in managing projects related to PAM implementation and improvement. Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery of objectives.
+ **Training and Development** : Ability to develop and deliver PAM training programs for employees. Promote a culture of security awareness and vigilance.
+ **Innovation** : Stay updated on the latest PAM technologies and trends. Ability to evaluate and implement new tools and solutions to enhance the PAM program.
