Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced CI/CD Engineer, highly proficient in GitLab, to join a critical Army program project in Aberdeen, MD. You will help build an in-house CI/CD infrastructure that integrates with other mature software systems to provide mission-critical capabilities. Your responsibilities will include administering and managing GitLab environments from scratch, configuring GitLab reporting, and utilizing GitLab APIs to generate comprehensive reports and insights. You will design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to optimize the software development lifecycle, and independently handle configuration updates, breaks, and vulnerabilities. The ideal candidate is a solution-oriented thinker, strong communicator, technically proficient, and a self-starter confident in working directly with customers. This team supports a hybrid schedule with three days of on-site work each week.

Compensation:

$60hr to $80hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

* 5+ years of experience in CI/CD engineering or a related role.

* Demonstrated expertise in GitLab administration, including setting up and managing GitLab environments from scratch.

* Experience in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab

* Proven ability to configure GitLab reporting and utilize GitLab APIs to generate comprehensive reports

* Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure-as-Code management.

* Experience with obtaining ATO/cATO for various projects/environments.

* Ability to Obtain a U.S, DoD Security Clearence * Active Secret Level Clearence or Higher

*  Familiarity with AWS Gov. Cloud Platform

*  Experience with Platform One, Army Create, or Software Factory

*  Experience with microservices and using containerization technology (Docker, Kubernetes)

*  Prior experience building AI/ML solutions

* Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, ect.)

*  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. null
