Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Sr. Staff Engineer for one of their large retail clients to shape and provide technical details, establish design systems, and best practices to promote more frequent releases and expand on experimentation for a hybrid approach to development between web and mobile.

Develop and articulate a clear technical strategy for our web, iOS, and Android applications, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.

Drive initiatives to maximize code reuse and modularization across both platforms, improving efficiency and maintainability

Lead the implementation of frameworks and architectures that enable rapid user experience experimentation and A/B testing

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Stay abreast of the latest mobile and web technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our applications and platforms

Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of our applications

Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural planning

Skills and Requirements

8+ years of experience in either Swift/Objective-C, Java/Kotlin, React, Ember, Spring Boot etc.

5+ years of experience building large scale experiences across Mobile and Web

Operations experience managing, deploying, and maintaining enterprise large scale solutions

Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or customers

3+ years of experience on Cloud Native technologies on AWS, GCP or Azure with 2+ experience in GCP and/or Kubernetes specific technologies

2+ years of experience in Machine Learning and/or Data Intelligence and leveraging these to build end customer experiences

Experience leading or contributing to multiple simultaneous product development efforts and initiatives null
