    Job Description

    A large financial service company is looking for a React/Java Fullstack Developer to join their team. This role's day to day will consist of 80% React Development and 20% backend work. American Express @ Work helps large and global companies manage their Corporate Card and Corporate Purchasing Card programs more efficiently online. From performing everyday administrative tasks and account maintenance, to accessing reports and utilizing reconciliation solutions, @ Work enables fast, efficient, and effective corporate card program management resulting in time and cost savings for our customers. We're looking for a Engineer to join American Express the @ Work Card Management team, which supports the next generation card management, card application, and loyalty membership benefits digital web based user experiences. This team partners with our Product and User Experience team to deliver a globally consistent user experiences across all of our @ Work markets. The ideal candidate possesses strong architecture, design, and hands on technical skills to build and enhance our user experiences implemented in REACT JS, but also has strong java skills to implement microservices, batch, and is confident in their abilities to take on other critical integrations and technical challenges as required. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate across a multitude of At Work and various enterprise teams to lead new initiatives as well as uplift existing experiences. You will be a bar raiser, and enjoy the challenge of delivering new and innovative solutions, while focusing on delivering on-time and with high-quality standards.

    Skills and Requirements

    * 5+ years experience working with React and Java

    * Experience working in a Cloud environment (AWS preferred, but open to Azure or GCP)

    * Experience Developing REST APIs from scratch, API Design, API Building and API testing using automated testing tools to deploy

    * Experience with React debugging and UI design

    * Experience working with Vert.X (for doing Asynchronous Callbacks)

    * CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Sonar

    * Experience working with Middleware like Kafka or equivalent

    * Experience doing Batch Development

    * Experience with automated unit testing & integrated testing & working with tools such as: as Selenium, Cucumber, WebDriver IO, Karate, Junit, JMeter, LoadRunner, PostMan, WireMock, etc.

    * Experience with SOAP

    * Experience with Spring Boot * Exposure to logging frameworks and web page performance optimization null
