Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Retail Technical Architect for a large retail company supporting their Pricing and Promotion Project. The perfect candidate with come with urgency to find a new solution for their inhouse pricing tool and external promotion tool. This person will be working with the stakeholders, product teams and solutions architect team to learn the current environment, learn the business and the pain points the two tools are causing to identify a better solution. This architect is going to be responsible from birth to death through design all the way to the technical integration. It is a requirement that this person is at the architect level but still be hands on in a Full Stack Java environment.

Skills and Requirements

Background in Retail or Ecommerce

10+ years of Full Stack experience in Java, Microservices, Springboot environment

8+ years of architecture and design with hands on technical expertise

Cloud Experience - GCP preferred

Experience with integrations

Offline Solutions - when up streams not working, this person needs to understand system design and data ecosystems

Kafka, Postgress, SQL database, data flows Island Pacific
