About The Role:
As a CBRE Data Intelligence Research Analyst, you will work in a collaborative environment to empower Research colleagues with high quality data and analysis, and to provide support in developing automation tools.
What You'll Do:
- Implement best practices for data collection and analysis of the Mid-Atlantic commercial real estate market, including quality control.
- Employ the CBRE Research proprietary database to monitor and elevate the quality of data.
- Support the Data Intelligence Senior Analyst in developing automation tools and enhancing research data.
- Build out a new data set to show tenancy across DC Metro office buildings, in collaboration with Research colleagues.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and critical thinking in all tasks performed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Real Estate, Economics, City Planning, Finance, or Business Analytics.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, and the ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and weighted averages.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and formulas. Experience with Excel Power Query is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with programming software Python, SQL, R or a BI tool like Tableau is a plus.
- Knowledge of real estate terms, definitions, and real estate analytical methodology.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Data Intelligence Research Analyst position is $60,000 annually and the maximum salary for theData IntelligenceResearch Analyst position is $66,300 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
