Have you or someone you known urgently needed something, wanting to get through the process of shopping and getting it delivered as fast as possible? Amazon Delivery’s Customer Experiences team (ADX CX) is seeking our next UX Designer to join us in creating a new definition of what it means to shop quickly for our customers. In this role, you'll collaborate directly with senior designers and cross-disciplinary teams to share ambitious and innovative ideas, bringing them to life through rapid ideation and tight collaboration. Your work in helping us shape solutions and experiments will be key in driving learnings, challenging existing paradigms, and supporting new customer expectations. As a part of our team, you'll also be connected with a broader group of designers and researchers in a design organization working through different lenses to elevate our delivery customer experience overall.
Key job responsibilities
As a key driver in designing solutions and up-leveling the quality of our customer experiences, you will:
• Bring forward innovative ideas and solutions that raise the bar on customer's experience with delivery
• Advocate for the customer through objective data such as market analysis, customer insights, technical constraints/opportunities, and business insights• Partner with business and development teams to plan and drive forward experience experiments and/or launches
• Quickly and thoroughly creating user flows, wire frames, visual designs, and prototypes to effectively concept and communicate detailed interaction behaviors that support decision making and development
• Assess and optimize the effectiveness of new and existing features by planning, performing, and advocating for validation techniques like usability testing, competitive analysis, and reviewing analytics insights.
• Present design work to UX partners, cross-disciplinary teams, and senior leaders

The Amazon Delivery’s Customer Experience team (ADX CX) team is a diverse group of designers and researchers that share our experiences and help each other succeed. We operate within the broader Amazon Delivery Experience design organization that includes teams focused on operational and transportation experiences critical to the success of the holistic delivery journey. Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of design experience
- 3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
- Have an available online portfolio
- Experience in usability testing
- Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and design
- Knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Proto.io, HTML, or similar
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of mass-market consumer web / mobile products experience
- Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designs
- Experience prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
