    Information Technology Intern - Summer 2025

    Nidec Minster Corporation is seeking an Information Technology Intern, to join our Information Technology (IT) team. This person will be based in the Minster office and provide onsite network, hardware, software, and other technical support to our internal IT customers based in the North America offices. As an intern in Information technology, you will be an integral part of our team, gaining practical experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and solving IT problems for internal customers.

     

    Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will contribute to various projects while gaining valuable experience in IT infrastructure and support.

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.

    + Assist with the imaging and configuration of Windows 11 computers for deployment to end-users.

    + Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

    + Assist in the implementation and maintenance of network infrastructure.

    + Assist with IT security measures, including monitoring and updating antivirus software, firewall configurations, and user access controls.

    + Participate in IT project planning and execution.

    + Document IT procedures and processes.

    + Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the IT field.

    Qualifications:

    + Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

    + Fundamental knowledge of computer systems and networking concepts.

    + Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, .NET, Python, Java) is a plus.

    + Previous IT-related experience or internships are preferred but not required.

    + Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities

    + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for technology.

    + Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration

    + Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
