Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
+ Coordinate engineering deliverables across R&D and UX teams, ensuring alignment on timelines, milestones, and quality.
+ Oversee the delivery of program milestones, ensuring that all deliverables meet agreed-upon completion criteria and deadlines.
+ Partner with Product Management and R&D leadership to build detailed schedules, roadmaps, and prioritization of feature requirements for UX-driven initiatives.
+ Ensure cross functional teams are aligned and prepared ahead of key program milestones, ensuring readiness for governance reviews and other decision-making checkpoints.
+ Proactively communicate program changes, updates, and adjustments to stakeholders at all levels, translating complex technical topics into clear, digestible messages.
+ Maintain clear and timely documentation of program results, driving continuous improvement by capturing and disseminating lessons learned from each phase of the program.
+ Lead teams through ambiguous or changing priorities, serving as an advocate for process improvements and advocating for scalable, efficient workflows.
+ Demonstrate strong leadership skills, including coaching, team building, and conflict resolution, to maintain a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Ideal Background:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree a plus.
+ PMP/PMI or Agile certifications preferred (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist).
+ 5+ years of experience in managing or supporting engineering teams at the senior level, ideally with exposure to R&D and UX focused initiatives.
+ 3+ years of experience in software development, cloud services, or release management within agile or DevOps environments.
+ Demonstrated ability to structure and manage multiple workstreams with a high degree of interdependence, ensuring smooth coordination across teams.
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make decisions that balance technical feasibility and business value.
+ Ability to effectively communicate program architectures, plans, and results across various levels of an organization, including executive and technical stakeholders.
+ Strong business acumen, strategic agility, and the ability to align technical objectives with broader company goals.
+ Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project, with a proven track record of using these tools to manage complex, cross-functional programs.
+ A strong willingness to challenge the status quo and advocate for innovative solutions in program management practices.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $73,100 - $135,700.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
