    General Electrician, C&I

     

    We are currently seeking a **General Electrician, C&I,** for our client on a 2-month contract basis in Fremont, California. The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrical technician with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Key duties include installing, operating, testing, and maintaining electrical equipment, conduit bending, troubleshooting DCS, and performing industrial electrical maintenance.

    Job Requirements:

    + Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings

    + Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connect wiring to them

    + Ensure piping complies with electrical codes

    + Connect electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to buildings

    + Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation

    + Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed

    + Replace conduit and wiring as needed

    + Replace circuit breakers as needed

    + Perform other related duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + Qualified Electrical Technician

    + Proficient in bending conduit (EMT) is required

    + Proficient in wire bending

    + Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a service environment at commercial scale

    + General electrician code knowledge

    + Strong communicator

    + Strong work ethic

    + Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

    + First Aid trained, CPR

    + OSHA 10
