    We are looking to add an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to our growing team!

    As an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of the organization's health and safety policy and procedures so that all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and the organization complies with all current and future regulations and laws.

     

    Reporting directly to the Manager, this position is based in Houston, TX.

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

     

    + Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience required. Degree in Occupational Safety and Health preferred

    + Skills: Experience developing safety plans. Experience conducting Safety Audits. Experience working across multiple departments giving feedback that is constructive and precise based on facts and behavioral patterns observed and gives individualized suggestions for improvement.

     

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

     

    + Oversees and coordinates activities of personnel to ensure a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.

    + Confers and cooperates with supervisory/management personnel in formulating administrative and operational policies and procedures.

    + Investigates accidents, completes or verifies accident reports, and liaises with specialists and health and safety authorities to identify the causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.

    + Recommends changes to working conditions to ensure all employees have a safe and healthy working environment and the organization complies with all regulations and laws, and internal safety policies and standards.

    + Maintains and analyzes records of workplace injuries, illness, and absences to identify areas of concern.

    + Educates and trains the organization's workforce on health and safety to ensure they understand and comply with the health and safety policies and standard
